Mitch Albom's 15-hour SAY Detroit Radiothon is back for its 13th year to raise money for Detroiters in need.
Albom — longtime Detroit Free Press columnist, author, and host of "The Mitch Albom Show"— will co-host the annual radiothon with his WJR-AM (760) partner, Ken Brown, on Thursday from Somerset Collection’s North Grand Court in Troy.
The broadcast runs from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m."The day’s events bring together the people who benefit from the charity, well-known local and national celebrities, and people who wish to help," according to a news release from SAY Detroit, a nonprofit founded by Albom in 2006.

Funds raised during the radiothon will benefit partner charities and support SAY Detroit’s available services, which include an after-school motivational learning center for youth ages 8-18, a free family medical clinic, a housing program for working familie
