Mike stimpson photography biography

Mike is a toy photographer; he is most famous for taking photos of Legos. His photos are very interesting as he takes famous scenes from photos and re-enacts them through legos. I like his work as they are quirky and intriguing to look at.

I feel like I can relate to his work as the photos break the rules of photography, instead of using people as models he uses Legos and my work isn’t like other people’s photos so I can relate because its out of the blue and very nice photos to look at even if its not what normal people would think is good; everyone has their own taste and the random taste of photos is good because they are good photos.

I like his work because of his attention to detail, when he was re-enacting a famous scene he made sure he had the right background, the right Legos and made sure it resembled the scene as good as he could make it. I did not want to resemble famous scenes as I am not a professional like him and I don’t have the right materials, so
